I was trilled when Making an Artist creator & host, Shanna Shrum, asked me to create the artwork for her podcast. It was such a fun process helping to bring the spirit of her podcast to life visually (and the additional challenge of creating a cover that will work as a teeny tiny thumbnail was extra exciting). Her podcast features casual conversations about the creative process meant to explore, inspire and redefine what it means to be a "successful" artist. It is SO inspiring to hear about the creative journeys of her guests.
When she asked ME to be a guest on her podcast I immediately thought "oh I couldn't possibly, I'm not an ARTIST, ARTIST... I'm not important, and no one wants to hear my story" - Shanna wouldn't take no for an answer and told me that I can leave my Impostures Syndrome at the door - after all, I DID create the cover art for that very podcast. It was an amazing experience and the feedback I got from it was so motivating and encouraging.
